My high energy students need the option of stand-up desks to help them manage their own behavior and to improve their focus and time on task so they can learn. Teaching students to self-advocate can help students both academically and socially. The donations for this project will provide the appropriate stimulation that my students need due to their disabilities. When the students use the stand-up desks when needed, this will reduce the amount of distractions that occur in my classroom. With less behavioral issues, we can increase learning for all students. Please help to provide my students with the tools they need to experience success.
