My students are shy, loud, crazy, silly, quiet, outgoing, smart, determined. Oh the list goes on. I have the privilege to teach 23 kindergarten students. Each of them brings a uniqueness to our class that has transformed into a family. We say our expectations every morning and we hold each other accountable every day. We strive to grow both academically and personally. We create friendships and accept mistakes. We learn through videos, hands-on activities, games, listening, and so forth. My students love to sneak up on me and scary me, they love to pretend to be animals, they give hugs and say I love you freely. I watch my students pretend to be "teacher". I am in awe of how much students grow in a years time. I teach them the alphabet and their numbers, but they teach me so much more. They teach me love, patience, and forgiveness.
