The books that I am requesting will be used in several ways. Students will be able to read the books individually during small group time or during Drop Everything and Read. They will also be able to enjoy reading the same text with a buddy/partner. They will have opportunities to listen while the book is read aloud. My students will analysis the authors craft to assist them with writing their very on fiction book. By donating, my students will have access to a wider variety of books. These books will give them an opportunity to increase their vocabulary/comprehension, to become fluent readers and most importantly motivate them to read more.
