The students of Camden have so much to offer the world. Teachers of inner city schools are faced with the task of educating the WHOLE student and not only their minds. There are many obstacles that the students' of low income cities face. One way to equip less fortunate students with the skills need to succeed as well rounded citizens, is through character education. With character education, students will learn the tools to have positive interactions with others, build self-esteem, and overcome diversities and social challenges they may face. These skills will not only benefit the student while they are in school, but these skills are invaluable as adults. This library of character education books will be used o help students navigate their way through difficult social situations and feelings, with the hopes that they will use these skills in years to come.
