Technology is an important part of today's world and our classroom should reflect that importance. I would like to be able to transform the learning experience to include current technology in exciting and user friendly ways!!! By incorporating iPod Touches into our classroom, my students will be able to use and create QR codes for a myriad of collaborative projects. Examples of these uses are: students recording their own short videos and sound-bites as book reviews for their peers to watch and using QR codes to work in small groups and research non-fiction topics. The ability of the iPod Touches to scan QR codes, also make them ideal for using to check out books in our classroom library and for me to track their book selections and report their successes to parents. These tools would have a positive impact on our academic success, productivity and enthusiasm! Thank you for your consideration!
