My students are 3rd graders attending a Title 1 public school in the Binghamton City School District. Our school has an 80% to 90% poverty rate that fluctuates from year to year. As a special education teacher pushing into an inclusive classroom, my students need the opportunities to learn using technology and keyboarding skills on a daily basis. Many of my students do not have access to technology in their homes. They benefit tremendously being able to use this technology. I strive to make learning fun and engaging and I use a lot of online games and apps. Often it hard to hear in my classroom because of the noise from the computers. My students need noise blocking headphones.
