My name is Stephanie Powers. I have been in the public school system for seven years now. Six of of these years have been spent teaching kindergarten. All seven of these years I have taught in a Title One school. Many children that attend these schools come from low-income, high poverty homes. Most of these children lack literacy materials and technology at home. It is my goal to help provide students with an opportunity at school to have hands-on experiences with these tools. These tools are needed in order to help them be successful in school, as well as later in life.
