In my classroom you will find a vast array of students from ability level to character traits. The children in my room are all treated with respect and fairness. They love to learn and they love to come to school. They are taught to be kind and friendly and each and everyone tries very hard to maintain a positive relationship with one another. In our school we believe in the little engine that could. We often talk about not saying things like I can't, but instead trying hard and never giving up. At any moment you could walk through our room and you will see students working together, helping one another and really showing a love for their work. These students do not always come in with the background knowledge and experiences that most of us have already encountered. Instead we take them from where they are and open up the horizon to many more years of learning and experiences that we know they all deserve. Our children make our classroom fun and exciting each and every day.
