At my school our 10th graders receive a 90 minute block of Global History every day for the duration of their sophomore year. This class helps the students to prepare for the New York State Global History Regents exam which they take at the end of their 10th grade year. I teach Global History to a group of students with disabilities in what is commonly referred to as a "self contained" class room. Our class is in the middle of the day; occurring during the noon hour when most people are hungry for lunch. My students are awesome, but they are often hungry. I have been buying them peanut butter granola bars, which they love! It helps them to focus and to stay motivated to learn about global history and the world around us! Would you help us out by buying some snacks to help these deserving students learn about history?
