My classroom is the loudest one on campus! It's a place where my students can come and feel safe to make mistakes while making music with their friends and peers. We have a lot of fun on a daily basis while the kids put in the necessary work to make good music. Our school is located in central Fresno and 100% of our students are provided free breakfast and lunch daily. The neighborhood around our school could be considered "rough". Some of our kids come from single-family homes, some live with other relatives, and some don't have homes at all. Our school provides them with a place to call home 5 days a week. We have a growing band and orchestra program that boasts the largest instrument inventory in the district thanks to administrative support years ago. Unfortunately, that funding wasn't infinite and needs still come up as our program develops. Thank you in advance for your support!
