My students are a sweet and kindhearted group of kiddos who come to school and try their best every day. They are a joint grade level group of 3rd/4th students who are almost all a year behind in their learning and skills. We are located in a small Native Alaskan village by the Bering Sea, and 95% of the children in our village are low social economic status, and many lack a stable family life to support their development and learning. As a school we are a young and hard working staff, working together towards making our school a very positive and engaging place to be for our students.
