Welcome to my third grade guided reading and phonics class! I teach incredible students who work their hardest each day. I believe in teaching the head and the heart; every child, every day. It is my responsibility to empower students to reach their highest potential and take the first step in reaching their dreams. As their reading teacher, I am laying the foundation for whatever their future plans may hold. Third grade is a pivotal year for students. Studies show that a student's reading ability in third grade is directly related to their success in high school and beyond.
