My program is located in a school of primarily Spanish-speaking students in a low-income community. My students are often minimally verbal and are simultaneously learning English and Spanish language. My students are learning ways to socialize and communicate with peers and adults though the exchange of photos. Resources, including basic supplies, are limited at my school so creating photo communication is challenging with 80 students. My students have conditions ranging from mild to severe Autism with a wide variety of communication skills.
