I currently teach 3rd grade in a charter school in San Diego. My students live in a neighborhood of high poverty where 100% of students fall below the poverty line and all receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are brave, incredibly kind students who deserve all the resources that other students do! Many of my students face everyday struggles and hardships which are beyond anything I can ever imagine. I teach students which the majority do not speak English as their primary language. Some students face homelessness, and most seek school as a safe haven.I am so excited to work with this incredible group of kiddos who I will ensure will feel loved, valued, and cherished every single day! My projects will support the needs of families living in high poverty areas with reducing the stress of purchasing school supplies.Please help ensure that my budget goes toward field trips and essentials during the school year.
