Hello and thank you for visiting our page! I am Mrs. Thimons, a Montessori Lower Elementary teacher at the beautiful Pittsburgh Montessori. I teach first, second, and third grade in a mixed-aged Montessori classroom. My students are a diverse group of learners that come from all over the Pittsburgh area to form our peaceful classroom community. Together we strive to uphold the values of self-motivation, exploration, collaboration, leadership, independence, self-confidence, and self-discovery that Maria Montessori so ingeniously built into her educational method over 100 years ago.
