I teach in a self contained ABA (applied behavioral analysis) classroom in a public school. I have 6 students, grades 3rd to 5th, with low functioning Autism. Each of my students have deficits in the following domains; social, behavioral, communication, academic and fine motor. Each student works on their own set of goals and objectives through an ABA frame work. We want all of the students in our classroom to be as successful as they possibly can be. Motivation and attending are the two most difficult challenges we face in our classroom. We are currently working on increasing work endurance with each of the students.
