Our school is in an urban district where all of our students receive free and reduced lunch. I have 19 gems in our classroom! There are 16 regular education students and 3 special education students. Each child comes to school with different hurdles that they must try to overcome. Some students do not have support at home to complete their work, but that does not stop them. Others have a great support system. I am lucky to teach these kids at Hope. They are an amazing group of individuals who love to help one another and always give 100%. These children want to learn and want to meet their learning goals.
