By funding this project, all my students will get to experience the great outdoors. Learning outside will provide my students with exercise which is something children do not get enough of anymore. My students will have fun while they learn as we snowshoe through our school forest. We need snowshoes and two rolling totes. Through this outdoor activity, my students will be experimenting, discovering, problem solving, negotiating, and creating which is all important for their social development. My students will learn patience and self-control while we walk in a line with our snowshoes. Being outside is the perfect medicine for us during these long, cold winter months.
