All classrooms should be equipped with computers and a printer. An abundance of evidence suggests the effectiveness of technology in the classroom since it can help raise students academic achievement. With only two computers in the classroom, we do not have a printer to be able to print necessary documents. We have created projects and written narratives which could have come more alive if only my students were able to print their work. This year in science, the students were asked to research an ecosystem of their choice. Many did not have the opportunity to integrate graphics because of the difficulty of printing. A printer is needed!
