After 2 years of PBL, Project Based Learning, I feel my students and I are ready to take another leap into true technology integration on a daily basis. We have wrapped our arms around solving real world application problems, however I feel in order to be relevant 21st century learners, students need to have technology at their fingertips. FrontRow, AR, Seesaw, Little Bird Tales are a few of the programs my students use on a daily basis with the 6 iPads we currently hold. In our classroom we also use Explain Everything to solve application problems in our Eureka Math program. Students understand how to use the tools necessary to upload images, solve problems and air play to share. In order to continue this growth mind set, I feel it would be extremely beneficial to work towards getting an iPad for every child in the room, giving students the access to work cooperatively as well as independently. When students are able to have 1:1 devices they can work on problems and respond to each others work no matter where they are located in the classroom. Their tech, typing and analysis skills will improve dramatically. The possibilities are unlimited!
