As an educator, I value personal growth and continue to seek meaningful ways to facilitate child centered learning that allows them to be collaborative innovators, critical thinkers, problem solvers, and fearless individuals! I truly believe that technology is a powerful tool to facilitate student learning that prepares them for their future careers, which will undoubtedly include the use of technology. I have been using technology all of my teaching career but have done so more within the last 8 years. I have found that when students use technology, they are more engaged and take more responsibility of their learning. They learn how to make their own decisions and actually think for themselves. I believe that giving them access to technology gives instant access to the most up-to date information, thus naturally supporting them in becoming global learners.
