Our school is composed by approximately 750 students ranging from Kindergarten to fifth grade. We are composed of 97% Hispanic, 2% African American, and 1% Caucasian students. Unfortunately, we are among the schools that were hit hard when the budget cuts took place. At this time it seems as if our school district has normalized the situation without the need of cutting teachers or additional supplies. However, the money that our school is able to spend in supplies is still limited. Students do not have access to learning supplies that can definitely enhance their education and performance in this upcoming state test.

About my class
