Welcome to my classroom! I have the privilege of being able to teach 23 happy, sweet, and hardworking 1st graders. Almost every student in my class lives on the Navajo Reservation. Some do not have running water or electricity at their homes and some have to travel over an hour just to come to school. Despite any challenges they face, these students help create a positive and excited classroom environment. In my classroom, I strive to make learning exciting and accessible. Some of my students do not have access to technology in their homes. I want to create a learning environment where they can use technology and art to improve their thinking and learning abilities. My students are talented and spirited. They are able to succeed at any challenge thrown their way and they can continue to grow and succeed as they continue with their education.
