We are a small high school in the Central Valley of California. We have a student population of less than 600 students. We have a large population of English Language Learners and 1st generation students. They have a great sense of pride in our school and community. When I first started teaching at this school I felt like it was right out of a movie. The tight night community and small town feel makes it an easy place to fall in love with. One thing I love about my students is they appreciate everything they are given. They notice appreciate their teachers and recognize the incredible student - teacher relationships that are developed at this school are rare to find in many other schools. There is a mutual respect and appreciation between staff members and students.
