I teach a 4th and 5th grade learning support class. Many students are far below grade level in reading and are not motivated to read in school or at home. By having a comfortable place to read in the classroom, my students will be more motivated to read and will discover the magic of reading! My students are in a newly created class in our district. The students are in between learning support and life skills. This is a very unique class and I have created this new program in just my second year of teaching. We are a Title 1 school and many of our students do not spend the time at home to read and require special attention.
