My students are special education students whose Least Restrictive Environment is the Inclusion setting. They are in regular education classes for 80% or more of their day. They come to the resource room for either Dyslexia Therapy, re-teaching, scaffolding, classwork or testing accommodations. Most perform 1-2 years below grade level in reading and math and need to achieve at a faster pace in order to close the gaps. I share a classroom with another Inclusion teacher. We strive to make our classroom a safe place where they are supported enough to feel successful. They all have great potential to do so and it is a pleasure to come alongside them every day and encourage them any way possible. THEY DESERVE THE BEST!!
