Over the past 13 years, I have watched children grow. Through exploration, collaboration, and play, children (my students) have become independent learners, kind and caring, strong leaders, teammates, and so much more. Teaching is not about the information I can give my students, yet it's about what we each bring into our every day learning and into our lives that changes the way we think, and grow. The students in my PreK class are tiny explorers. They are scientists and engineers. They are authors and illustrators. They are artists and caregivers. Each child brings so much more to our school family. Our school family is made-up of little boys and little girls who are learning to work together. They are tiny humans with BIG emotions. Together, we are becoming conscious of each other's wants, needs and most importantly what brings a smile to our face and joy in hearts. Each boy and girl adds pizazz to our family!
