These books will help students learn about countries, cultures, and customs around the world. Learning about these things will help our students grow as global citizens and understand the role they play in the larger scope of the world. Many grade levels and classrooms research countries around the world every year as part of a learning project. The library has a collection of country books that have out-dated information and that do not meet the reading level needs of our students. These books would provide a resource for students with updated information and appropriate reading levels. These new country books would allow students to be armchair world travelers and learn about new countries and cultures!
