The kindergarten through 6th grade students who attend my program have different disabilities, from severe learning disabilities to mild/moderate cognitive impairments. Some of my students also have ADHD and emotional issues. Yet they are amazing young people who simply struggle with academics, independent living skills and social skills. I always tell my students they can do anything they set their hearts on. This year's motto is that all of my students are "Super Heroes" in every way. They are powerful enough to accomplish anything! I am pleasantly surprised every day with how much they grow and progress.
