We are a low income school district who strives to engage both the students and their parents in education. Our school in particular works hard to provide a strong love of education in our students, as it is not always a top priority for their family. My students are an amazing group of kids. They are driven and compassionate students who work hard in the classroom. They are just learning to be responsible for their own education, and as a teacher, it is sometimes difficult to help them understand how much control they have. Completing projects, like this, gives students a little extra pride in their work, which increases their drive to learn.

About my class
