"Welcome to 2nd Grade! Where Magic Begins and Dreaming Never Ends!" The above statement is the theme for my students and I this year. I teach in a district where the entire district is on either free or reduced lunch. A district where students from all backgrounds work together and learn from each other on a daily basis. In our classroom they will fall in love with the magic of learning as their young minds continue to grow and develop. As a teacher who grew up in the same district as them, I understand the importance of continuing to dream. The importance of them realizing that their dreams will allow them to become future doctors, entrepreneurs, teachers, and so much more.
