LTHS is for the first time offering an AP Computer Science class. This will expand access to computer science and increase participation by women and underrepresented minorities. Most importantly will offer these students the opportunity to enroll in an AP Course and gain college credit. Flash drives are needed for these students. Within our department, we are currently using a paper cutter which is far beyond its useful service life. Not only does it lack basic safety features, but the blade is also dull making cutting paper significantly more difficult and time-consuming. Being able to cut paper goes a long way to conserve the limited amount of paper provided for each student.
