I teach 4th grade in a city school which is restructuring to implement Manchester Academic Standards into our curriculum to prepare students for 21st century skills. We are making progress, and work very hard to meet the needs of all our students. We have a diverse population of students. I am a firm believer in literature, and using really good books to "hook" students. Providing my students with rigorous literature is an important step towards meeting the expectations of our standards. I appreciate your time and support in helping create a future generation of capable young adults.
