This school year I will employ gamification into my classroom practices. Research has shown that children learn a tremendous amount through play and socializing with peers. I intend to harness this research through the learning games that I am requesting. There are books with questions and then there are games with strategy and decisions. I want them to love what they are doing while learning these skills. Students enjoy choices. I intend to allow one of my centers to use the floor chairs as a way to sit somewhere else in the room that will be comfortable and safe. My other requests are to be used as a way to reach my learners while in small groups with me. These tools will be engaging and thought-provoking​ for my diverse groups.
