I teach Physical Education to a population of disadvantaged middle school students in the Oceanside area. Many of these students come from backgrounds of trauma, gang affiliation, and poverty which can make learning and gaining resources even more challenging. It is my goal and intention to create a positive-engaging classroom community where students are motivated and know the benefits of being life-long movers. I know I can work towards achieving my goal by integrating lessons that incorporate more technology and are student driven. Please help me foster competence, confidence, and success for our students and the future generation.

About my class
