Our students attend a school where the teachers are outstanding and willing to do whatever they need to equip our students for the future. Our teachers always excel on the state assessments. However, many of our children live in single parent homes with a mom or dad that works several jobs just to provide essentials. Some also live with parents who have nothing to do with them or their school work. Some do not eat except at school while others do not know from day to day where they will sleep at night. Therefore, we, as teachers, try to do our best to provide for our students while they are here. Most students can not afford to buy their school supplies. We are only given a small amount of money to purchase items for the classroom for the entire year. Therefore, we look for other ways to provide for all of our students' needs!
