These tablets will reinforce skills taught during our daily lessons. Students with ADHD and Autism can stay on tasks longer with the use of tablets. This will be the first step in reducing the amount of paper used in my classroom. Students will gain technology skills such as sending emails and using the internet in safe legal ways. Students can use interactive games and instructional tools such as Edmodo, Quizlet, Weebly, Sheppard Software, and Nearpod. Last, this integration of technology (tablets) in the classroom will help struggling students practice deficient skills that may be embarrassing or students may lack confidence in.
