Like every classroom, the students in our classroom are very unique. Each student learns in his/her own way, and we strive to allow that to happen. I speak using the words 'our' and 'we', because I work very closely with a Learning Support teacher. About half of the students that I teach receive learning support. Also, students' socioeconomic backgrounds vary. I recognize that this has a direct impact on learning, and I try very hard to create a structured, comfortable, and welcoming learning environment.
