By having a central space for children to share, come together as a team of learners, relax and regroup is essential for every classroom. Third grade children are active and need a place that will fit everyone comfortably. Our fire retardant rug will serve as our operation central for morning meeting, read aloud, sharing our writings, and celebrations throughout the year. All children need time to be together as one team in order to help them learn that we all need each other and that we are there for each other as a classroom of learners. It will give a place for math games, STEM Projects, face to face conversations, creating memories, and beginning our day together as a family before we move to our next steps.
