My students love to come to school where their day is structured and consistent. Many of the students go home where there is not a lot of structure or support for homework and the poverty cycle continues. Students keep themselves busy by plugging in to electronic devices. These kids USE their electronic devices for hours on end; what if I could show them a future where they CODE these devices? It could change their lives forever! According to Computer Science Education Week "There will be 1 million more computer jobs than (computer) students over the next 10 years."
