The materials I'm requesting are already being provided in other classes at my school. As a result we have been able to borrow seating on occasion from other teachers to test it out and see what works best. I saw a dramatic difference in my students focus and motivation on the days we borrowed flexible seating. The donations to this project will allow my students the ability to move and wiggle as needed without being a distraction to students around them. Students will get to choose the type of seating they want and we will have a class policy of taking care of and respecting all classroom furniture. We tried this out when we borrowed seating and I saw that it also helped them to be more responsible. I whole heartedly believe kids aren't made to sit still and quiet, I want to provide them optional seating but I won't be able to without your help! Thanks!
