Don't fidget! Sit up straight! Get focused! At seven and eight, with multiple learning styles, gifted abilities and learning disabilities, those three phrases can't always happen at the same time. At my school, we are encouraged to build a classroom that feels like a home, and flexible seating options are a great start in showing children that not all students benefit from a traditional desk and chair. We work daily to integrate technology as often as possible, learn with hands on experiences, and show each other kindness in all things. Thank you for your support of my classroom and our school!
