My students are incredibly interesting in many ways. They range from five to fifteen-years-old, from 8th grade chorus to 2nd grade Autism strand, from students born and raised in Roxbury to students who have only lived in the U.S. for a few months. A large percentage come from Cape Verde as well as the Dominican Republic, which are both fabulous cultures. My students are rich in personality and curiosity, have incredibly interesting ideas for such young people, and hold big hearts, valuing friendship above all else. I love spending time with my students.
