We currently do not have enough shelving to organize our materials in a way that lets the students both have them accessible in the necessary areas and clean up independently. With the shelving in this order, we will be able to solve both of those problems and create more defined areas in the classroom. Last year, we pieced together a carpet for our reading center which fell apart halfway through the year. What we need is a real carpet to make them comfortable as they explore books and reading. The library center is a very popular center and a new rug will make it that much more inviting.

About my class
