This cubby unit will allow me to store independent work tasks in an organized way, that will ultimately help increase my students independence. My students will be able to look at their visual "task list", go match the number, pull the bin out, and start working. No more will they need to wait for teachers to set up materials or help them sort through and lift bins. The ability to work independently and control ones environment is something students with autism don't often get to experience.
