Not all of my students have an easy home life, and I want them to come to school every day and love it. I feel that by providing my students with a safe environment I am creating lifelong learners. Flexible seating (Wobble Chairs and Exercise Balls) is a great way to make motion and not commotion while keeping students engaged. This will help them focus and improve their attention spans. I want to encourage my students whether they need to movement or not. There has been a lot of research done on how effective this type of seating is in classrooms. I want to bring this to my classroom!
