My students attend a Title I school which is defined as socially and economically challenged. All students receive free and reduced lunch and lack opportunities that are offered in many other school district in Arizona. Students have little to almost no access to technology in their homes or in our language arts classroom; Therefore it is important to introduce them to technology for real life application. Our students are already struggling to keep up in this technology-driven world, and in order to be successful and competitive in the 21st century, they need to learn to navigate modern technology.
