Flexible seating is making it's way into classrooms all around my school so, I was curious. What is it all about? Students learn best when focused on what is important. Many of our classrooms today (unfortunately, mine included) still have the desks/tables and chairs setup. This does not promote creativity or expressive learning for all 25 of my students. We sit all day as is, we need freedom to move. Freedom to choose. Freedom to change. So, I'd love the opportunity to change things up and give them a chance to 'wiggle' around for learning!
