My wonderful students come from a variety of language and cultural backgrounds. Many of my students are socioeconomically disadvantaged and live in multiple family homes. Several kids in my class have already overcome obstacles that most adults will not face in a lifetime. My students are eager to learn, but are often in need of an abundance of additional support and encouragement.
