Our current library laptops are six years old and have problems with crashing/speed. Having access to five Chromebooks will allow our girls to access the Girls Who Code website and the MIT coding tutorials for their project. The girls are almost half-way through their coding tutorials, but they now need expanded access to their coding platforms to build their group games. It's exciting to watch the girls learn coding, but it's even more impressive to watch them use their new skills to support their community with real-life outreach to younger students. The girls are receiving life-changing experiences that women are fully capable of pursuing technology careers.

About my class
